Its been ages since i've posted an article on my blog.. Am going to start doing regular updates.
For all who did not know on Thursday 31st March 2011, KIC FM - Kids in Communication is scheduled to close, due to government funding. KIC is one of 200 youth projects to close. What a disgrace I say? and I am sure you will agree with me too. This Coalition government has really messed up the youth, Kids and future generations to come. Firstly Removing EMA and replacing it with a 'Bursary' but before that putting the increase on University fees, its not a young person dream any more to succeed, the reason is for cost and everything being cut left right and centre. I know all these politicians and higher ranking people have lived lives where they don't have to pay these high funds.(Rant over)
On the other hand KIC FM has been a successful organisation over the past 13 years...watch the Short flim Documentary of what a made this year to celebrate its 10th anniversary KIC FM Short Flim 1999-2011
This video was made by Mint Video and former KIC member Tim Sargent and Presented by Raj Gill. This showed past story to present about what KIC has done for people here some stats about KIC.

My Experience with KIC FM
On March 2010 last year i had the oppurtinity to join KIC, i Can remember it like it was yesterday. The Jounery from home to KIC. I remember going to wolverhampton waiting for the 510 to come asking the driver which stop to do i have to come off. As i entered the KIC trailer i was greeted by the station manager and Broadcasting Journalist, Kenny and Jamie. As I already had some radio exprience under my belt i was shown the equipment and show some other things.
My first show i done was a cover show which became a permant show called "The Shaun Baxter Show". As creative as the name is NOT, it slowly came on to be come a success. Heres a link to my first ever presenter link i did on the station. i reworked it by adding Jingles at the start and Finish

Well as you just heard that was my first ever presenter link look how far I have came in space of a year.
Looking Back now i will never get this opportunity in my lifetime again
